Sample Day in the Student Program
7:30 AM - Homestay breakfast (Vegemite toast & seasonal fruit)
8:30 AM - School assembly (Māori welcome chant)
9:00 AM - Science class (Marine biology field trip to local beach)
12:30 PM - Lunch with buddy (Try a "sausage sizzle" from the canteen)
3:15 PM - Rugby practice or drama club
6:00 PM - Homestay dinner + help prep pavlova dessert
Sample Day in the Adult Program
9:00 AM - Visit local art exhibition (Discover contemporary Māori weaving & Pacifica paintings)
12:00 PM - Lunch in CBD (Choose between: Vietnamese pho, authentic Chinese meal, Korean BBQ, European or classic fish & chips)
2:00 PM - Auckland University tour (See the Clock Tower lecture halls & engineering labs)
3:30 PM - AUT University visit (Explore cutting-edge media production studios)
6:00 PM - Dinner at local restaurant (Free choice - we can assist with reservations at top spots like Depot Eatery or The Grove)
Sample Day in Family Gathering Weekend
8:00 AM - Depart for Hobbiton™ Movie Set (Guided tour through Bag End & the Green Dragon Inn)
12:30 PM - Lunch at The Shire™ (Hobbit-style feast with:
🍗 Roast chicken & rustic bread
🍻 Famous non-alcoholic Butterbeer)
2:30 PM - Scenic drive to Rotorua (Watch for sheep-dotted farmland)
4:00 PM - Rotorua city exploration:
• Whakarewarewa Village geothermal walk
• Polynesian Spa thermal foot baths
6:00 PM - Check in at Sofitel Rotorua (Luxury lakeside resort with pool)
7:30 PM - Fine dining dinner (Chef’s degustation menu featuring:
